Welcome to the NPC board. Here is where you can post, or pick up a NPC. We would like to go into a few details about this process, so as to snuff out any questions. If what you're wondering about isn't posted here, please PM an admin with your question(s).
You basically want to make a mini profile for this person. We don't expect you to go through the work of making a whole profile (unless you want to of course!) for a character you're not going to RP yourself. We do however; expect you to provide enough information about the character so that anyone interested knows the basics. Such things include:
—»Make sure to outline that particular character's strengths, and weaknesses; jutsu, and any custom skills and/or bloodlimits[if you have any for them].
—»Personality is a must. We're not talking about one word explanations (unless it is a rapid succession of words); Preferably give the people some depth as to what this character is like.
—»What do they look like? Short/tall, thin/fat, strong/fragile?
—»Does this person have any tattoos, or markings? This must be explained also.
If any or all of these things are free, then just simply state in the "mini profile" that this character is free for development. Remember, anything you do not specify as right or wrong, is free game for people applying. So be sure to also outline what your character can NOT have/do and HAS to have/do.

Fighting strength: (no less then 5 words)
Fighting weakness: (no less then 5 words)
Team members: (just list, no descriptions needed, unless you feel the need for it)
Friends/family: (just list, no descriptions needed, unless you feel the need for it)
Other companions: (just list, no descriptions needed, unless you feel the need for it)
Character history: (short winged version of their history. Just outline major events, the applicant can fill in all the holes.)
You WILL, I repeat WILL have to make a full out character application for them. This application will be placed here under the original request for someone to take the NPC, and not on the normal character application board. Why? Because we'll need to compare what you have written against the original person's wishes. If we see that you've done a poor job, then you will be, clearly, denied. We’re not going to let you cut corners, and even if you do mess up, if you show good potential we may let you slide. Remember, more then one person may be applying, so if you see one already here, don’t' hesitate to post yours as well. Sometimes, bigger is NOT better. Plus you never know, if your profile is decent, but not the best for a particular character, we may offer you "first dibs" position on another character of your choice. This will be rare though, so don't expect it to happen.
—»If you are accepted:
We will inform you of your success via the board, and PM. You will be expected to have made/transferred the profile (this time in the character creation area) in five days for second review. That’s a business week people; it’s plenty of time. We would like to see you RP as soon as possible, and if the character sits stagnant too long, it will be taken away and put back up for adoption.
—»If you are rejected:
We will inform you Via PM and the board. Your mistake(s) will be outlined, and if no one else is accepted for the character, you will be able to fix your profile. If changes have not been made within twenty-four hours (24 hrs: that’s a day people); then the whole thing will be removed and you will not be able to apply for that particular character again.
