Name: Inuzuka Souku
Alias: N/A
Rank: Chuunin
Gender: male
Age: 19
Village: Konohagakure no Sato
Clan:Inuzuka
Appearance: Defining his physical attributes(aside from the obvious) isn't to easy to do unless he allows you to get within a notibly close distance from him. Something that, at best, might happen accidentaly. None the less, he holds a fairly average appearence, lacking any unique characteristics that havn't already been seen and done before.
Hes tall, standing around 5'7. Its unlikley he'll grow anymore than a few more inches perhaps ending his growth at 5'9 at the most. Dispite his hieght Souku lacks the lanky frame many taller people posses and in fact, is rather compactly muscled, though not unproportioned at all. Fairly broad shouldered, he isn't a bad looking guy at all, really. Though from many fights and quite a few falls, much of his body shows various scraps, bruises, and even a few small scars. Most of which are never seen under the clothes. Not to say he hides them, but hes far above getting nude with an audience. XP
His face, like most Inuzuka, is fairly angled. Dark grey, narrow eyes hold a dull shine similar to that of a much older person. Though much of his facial characteristics hold features that really seem a bit odd for such a young person. His cheeks are a bit hollowed out through stress and even under his eyes there are signs of many, many, MANY lost hours of sleep. Most of the time, anymore, he holds a blank, stoic look. As though emotionaly he's miles and miles away. Which wouldn't be stretching the truth if you assumed such a thing. He lacks the traditional dark brown hair many of his clan mates have and instead, his hair is extremly dark, though not quite black, resebling charcoal. Messy and fairly short aside from his bangs that generally hang in his line of vision, he obviously doesn't do much in the way of grooming. He also bears the tradmark red upside down triangles that the Inuzuka clan is known for on his cheeks.
Much of his frame it hidden under layers of clothing. Obviously the boy is considerably partial to blues given the colours he prefers. The first shirt he has in a blue/grey long-sleeved shirt. Though lighter in the fabric, it's fairly durable. The sleeves over about half of his hands, being just a bit to big for him. His jacket is considerably more unique though. A lighter, almost sky blue, predominantly, its short-sleeved. The jackets accesories, including the pockets rim and lining and the collar are a much darker blue. The collar is an odd one compared to most. Instead of a simple fold of cloth coming up to cover his neck, it looks as though someone cut a large rectangle in the center of it. On the right side of the collar a longer strap with a rounded metal buckle hangs loosly. On the left side there is another strap, able to be unbuttoned, where the jacket could be pulled together at the neck for some reason. On either sleeve about midway up his upper arm there are two dark blue straps that may also be unbuttoned. Across his chest is a brown leather sash he uses to hold his crossbow to his back. About halfway across the sash is his forehead protector plate bucket securly to is. THe sash can be removed by unfastening the right side of the buckle on the plate. Though the metal plate shows scars from many of his travels, it still clearly bears the Leafs symbol, proving he still pledges his alligence to Konohagakure. He's also clung to the necklace he was given as a very young boy by his mother, before she and his father were killed. But instead of sitting around his neck, he keeps it tied loosly, but not insecurly, to the lower end of the sash. On the upper and lower parts of the sash there are two dark blue bands as well.
His trousers, as you may have guessed, are also blue. A navy colour with a black stripe running down the side of each trouser leg. Though upon first glance they almost appear to be sweatpants, they are actuall made of that same stuff khakkis are and feel virtually the same. As a left-handed person, he carries his leg puch on his left leg and also carries the traditional back pouch(fanny pack lol)
Special body armor: Nothing out of the ordinary really. He hardly carries any armor, lacking any real need for it as he rarely gets anywhere near his enemy long enough for it to be a problem.
Personality: Souku is a hard one to ever really figure out, as most of his personality consists of almost bipolar collisions of different personalities. Hes not cursed with Multiple Personality Disorder, of course. But some days, the boy seems to contradict himself so much it would make anyones head hurt. Hes quiet, something thats hard to expect from an Inuzuka. His friendship is just about out of the question for anyone aside from his dog, Murasaki. Since leaving Kohona for a while and teaching the dog to speak, Murasaki has been the only one to converse with Souku since about a year ago when they first left. When put in a social situation, Soukus begun having dificulty tolerating anyone else and Murasaki refused to speak to anyone other that Souku, for now anyway. A certian aloofness claims him well given his quiet nature. Through much isolationg and deep insight, hes developed a sort of resentment towards humanity in general. However, he often finds himself in the company of others and seems to do well with people, dispite his distaste for others actions. Time and experience has molded a seemingly never ending span of patience, as compared to his younger years. But old habits, of course, die hard. While not nearly as impulsive and angry as he used to be, he doesn't like to be held back from something he wants. Hes selfish at heart and even in the company of those he loves, he cant help but trudge stubbonrly towards his own motives rather than stop and listen to others. Even if hes managed to restrain it somewhat, his quick wit and "leap first, think later" perogative in life only brings him to make irrational dicisions. However, since his acadamy days, you cant say he hasn't matured incredibly for his age. While he may only be nineteen, hes thinking well above such an age. Hes no intelectual, but he is an incredibly sharp witted person. You won't fool him with any smoke and mirrors. Unfortunatly, he still beleives he can obtain goals for his mental age with his physical age. Hes one of those people who are "an older mind, trapped in a young body" as they say. But hes well aware of this, his insight has already picked his own personality pros and cons up, you see. And this brings his naturaly arrogant self forth from his childhood. Another thing that really should have been forgotten with time. Nope, not for Souku. He looks down on his own peers and beleives those much older than him to be his equals. Sadly, this doesn't do to well when hes expected to show respect. Expectantly, he has a probelm with authority.
Hes always out to excel in everything. His entire life seems to be about climbing an emotional mountain. But hes the kind of person that doesn't always want to get a sturdy foundation before beginning a task. He wouldn't dare begin at the bottom of that steep cliff. No, he'd rather start at the top of it, where he believes he belongs. Take it as arrogance if you want, but theres always a sort of modesty about him despite the fact that he knows all to well just how good at something he is or can be. Pat him on the head and praise him and hell scowl at you for being stupid and remark that he never thought to tell you because "It wasn't that important". But in his head, hes flushing with pride at whatever accomplishment hes just been praised for.
His age(and perhaps puberty itself) has brought about a rather apathetic aloofness, as it tends to with most teens. Hes entered that infamous stage in life where suddenly, the world is supposed to owe you something since you've obviously worked so hard to grace mankind with your presense. And thanks to his experience prior to such a stage and his five years of social isolation its gradually gotten worse, to the point where hes lost his usuall snarky comebacks and has reverted to sulking. Unfortunatly, because its obviously a temporary phase, its not nearly as threatening as he'd like to think. But selfishness seems to run a bit to deep for him anyway. His goals are always of the utter most importance in his life. And if getting them means being with no one but his dog his entire life, wel so be it. But he can be quite the opposite in certian situations. Example, he'd die before he would allow Murasaki to be killed. His comrades, at most times, are treated the same way. Suki especially. Though he never really developed any sort of infatuation or love for her, hes extremly protective and border-line territorial when it comes to her well being. However such closness has long been weakened since he departed from the Leaf. Not so much with Tao and Roy though; in fact hes been known to question his loyalty to them and even forsake his bonds completly. But it mainly sprouts from his innitial dislike of the two anyway and isn't to surprising.
He isn't a guy you'll be able to easily locate and you certianly won't find him in any one for more than a few days at a time. Dispite his need to gain things he lacks real emotional attatchments to anything aside from Murasaki. He has a great lack of concern, almost carlessness about what could happen tommorrow. And yet at the same time, hes able to keep a good knowledge about yesterday. Which is why traveling fits him nicley. He won't settle for slow, boring missions when he knows all to well that he could be out having some marvelous adventure of his own. Again, his independant nature allows him the benifit of thoroughly enjoying his wandering. But thats not to say you won't ever find him standing still. Many times he gets caught up in his own world of what he believes everything should be like. And when reality gets to grim, he'll happily stit in some tree and contemplate his own ideologies of how things should be. But enjoy it while you can, it won't last long. His incesant need to be off doing something different so often forbids him to stay and think.
Through quite a bit of time, hes gotten to be overly-independant. Whether this is a good thing or not can be left to whoever is judging him. With a strong sense of pride to match, Souku wouldn't be caught dead allowing someone to help him in anyway. He's always had such an overbearing sense of pride, even for a young age. As said, he'd much rather be on top of things than below someone else. He wont crawl if he can walk, he wont walk if he can run and he wont run if he can fly. And be it learning new jutsus or just learning how something functions, hes always attempting to make things better benefit himself. Nearly any information you feed him, hell bend and even break until he finds whats right for him. Anything that will get him to the top of his mountain quicker - though hes never really been into the whole Hokage thing. He rarely stumbles or falls on the way up either. It can make him infuriating when he refuses to budge and take the road less traveled. Soukus not an optimist and he knows what's beyond that path hes so stubbornly stuck to following. Deep holes, mudslides, and a rough, narrow streak where one wrong step can kill you. Why should he try and gain(what he beleives to be)faulty footing on dirt thats susceptible to erosion. Let those other silly people with the same goal try and worm their way ahead of him. While this is okay if he were to ever need it on a mission, it often causes conflicts between him and his peers. Childish wishing and dreams are all obstacles and he much prefers to jump over them or even go around them altogether than stop and be distracted. And don't you dare try and take something from him he believes is his. Hes prone to attachment and possessiveness like nothing else. And what he wants, he'll steadily make his way over to it and wait patiently for a window of opportunity for him to obtain it. And suppose someone tells him no, well he's more than willing to wait. And hell sit patiently until he wears them out and they have to give in. If you haven't gotten it by now, hes stubborn! Unfortunately, while he never loses sight of his goals, he often unintentionally leaves others behind him. Maybe not physically but emotionally he may become more introverted that most his age. If you cant keep up with him, you may be looking at his back for some time before he realizes hes moving to fast. To others, it could make him seem like a terrible person. However while his friendship may be hard to come by, his loyalty is unwavering and he'll gladly wait for you at the top of the mountain no matter how long it takes. However, as much as he just loves beginning at the top, his foundation is weak and hes been known to have the very rock hes perched upon crumble beneath his feet. Stubborn as he may be, he then has to begin again, this time at the bottom with everyone else.
His temper, though, again, not nearly as impulsive as it used to be, is still a quick one. When attempting to make a point it can be difficult to walk the thin line that creates his dual attention span. Dodge the subject too much and he'll become irritated and impatient with the lack of focus. But garenteed, you push him into seeing things your way and you'll only be met with a harsh, sarcastic wit and a sharp tounge. He seems suceptable to snap at any given time and since hes gotten better at controling it, it's considerably harder to note when his anger is sparked and flaring. None the less, patient as hes become, such anger has gotten him into trouble on more than one occation unfortunatly.
Dispite his insistant need to be better than everyone else, he lags behind his team mates as the slower, clumsy one in the group. And unfortunatly, one cant afford to a clutz on a mountian. Thus, when ever he excels in anything hes innevitably knowcked back down by someone more powerful than he is. Competitive and bearing a great sense of pride, he takes everything as another challange to his name. Because he has the idea that he should be at his rightful place above everyone else, forcing him back where he really belongs is often the best thing to do in a lot of situations. However, his reluctance to stay down shines through in spite of every fall. His cowardice has long faded with time and instead he's replaced such fears with a strong and steady determination thats truley a gift in a shinobi.
Even as he moves about constantly, he lacks much motivation anymore. His once dire need to see things outside of Konoha has faded into a tiring nostalgia. A part of his mind always seems to wander back to his home and recently, as he draws closer and closer to the Hidden Leafs gates, he's become torn between going back and moving forward. Its become a sort of mantra for him "always forward, theres no point in going back" is what he keeps telling himself. But lately, his home sickness has been losing him sleep and costing him daylight hours. However, it proves his loyalty never truley faulters, nor does he ever really forget his past. However, he's all to reluctant to set foot anywhere near it, instead linger close to the borders and quite distrout the the unfamiliar feeling of indecision.
Jutsu Techniques:
Genjutsu:
Shadow Clone Jutsu(Bunshin no jutsu)
Ninjutsu:
Transformation Technique(Henge no jutsu)
Substitution Technique(Kawarimi no jutsu)
Summoning Technique - Watchdog(Kyuichose - Banken): Souku, having signed a blood contract with them, can summon three large German Shepherd dogs(Mizaru, Mikazaru, and Mazaru). The three brothers are mainly used to scout for enemies over long distances while Souku travels, though they have been summoned for battle as well.
Twofold Tranformation: White Wolf(Futari-hitokumi Henge: Shiroi Okami): Done with Murasaki, the two use what could be called another variation on the Jujin Bunshin(which Souku used as a base when creating this jutsu). Instead of Murasaki becoming a replica of Souku, both of them transform into two identical white wolves. Not only is it impossible to tell them apart, but their speed, agility and stamina are increased tenfold.
Earth Sytle: Devilish Fang(Doton: Akuma no yo kiba): Again, Souku cant do this properly without Murasaki and it cannot be done without first using the Tranformation technique above. As wolves now, the use a variation of Tsuuga/Gatsuuga. Tunnling underground on either side of the enemy, preferably, the two dig underneath the target and come up underneath him using syncronozed movments to work together and create a larger attack and deal more damage.
Hidden Fragrence(Kakusareta Kaori): A fairly simplistic jutsu. Given the Inuzuka Clan's and their dog's infamous sense of smell, Souku carries a small collection of scented smoke bombs. Though the obvious smell fades almost immedietly, Souku can call either his three summons or Murasaki to track the smell for weeks. Not only that, but because it contians a good percentage of water molocules, the smell lingers on anything or anyone the target touches, leaving them open for following even longer. However, the smell is too faint for any normal dog, or even Souku himself, to catch and track so the plan can remain hidden for a long period of time, assuming the target find out at all.
Taijutsu:
None
Doujutsu: None
Hijutsu:
Four-legged Style/All-fours Technique(Shikyaku no Justu)
Beast-Human Clone/Man-Beast Clone(Jujin Bunshin)
Piercing & Double Piercing Fang(Tsuuga/Gatsuuga)
Man Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf(Jinjû Konbi Henge: Sôtôrô)
Double Wolf Fang(Garoga)
Kinjutsu: N/A
Weapons: He almost always has a relitivly large supply of kunai. Mostly for his crossbow though, he rarely bothers simply throwing them anymore unless he has to. He keeps around ten to fifteen usually. Explosive tags are seldom used, but he generally has around four to five of those hanging around in cases of emergancy.
Hes always got at least four scented smoke bombs on him. The bombs, as said before, harbor an almost undetectable scent in the smoke that clings to anything it touches. The scent may only be tracked by Inuzuka Clan dogs or by Soukus three summoned dogs. He carries these in his back pouch. He also contains a small number, usualy one or two, regular smoke bombs as well.
On his back, strapped to the leather sash bearing his forhead protecters metal plate, is a mid sized crossbow. Hes become well known for weilding the weapon and often uses it in battle. He obtained it in the Waterfall Village from an builder of shinobi weapons. But its not made to fire arrows, but rather kunai and he uses it accordingly. Hes become an amazing archer since aquiring it almost six years ago. Now he carries it along everywhere and its become as common a weapon as kunai. Not only can it fire them much more accuritly and a far greater distance than a person, but he can channel chakra into it and send even further. Explosive tags can also be fired off and hes even begun attatching the scented smoke bombs to kuani to hit moving or far away targets.
Main fighting style:
Dog based ninjutsus
His chakra type is Earth
Fighting strength:[/u]
Naturaly, speed and agility is in his blood and he makes full use of such advantages. Hes hones his chakra control enough to allow himself to increase his speed to the point that most cant keep up with him if he doesn't want them to.
He and Murasaki are as close to perfectly syncronized as it gets, in any fight. The two can not only preform powerful jutsus together, but can attack from multiple angles and easily gain the upper hand in any situation. Automaticly its as though they outnumber single opponents and have a better shot at multiple enemies. The two both posses high intelegance and the weight to throw around(figurativly speaking of course) and are exremly difficult to take down single handedly when they are together.
Souku has obtained the ability to summon Mizukara(a large german shepherd moffian doness) and her three sons Mizaru, Mikazaru and Mazaru. Though he hasn't yet the ability to summon Mizukara on a regular basis(not to say he cant, he'd simply be killed in a serious fight if she wasn't able to win)he can summon all three of the Zaru triplets at any time. The dogs can be used for tracking, as they posses the same skills as any Inuzuka dog, if not more so. They can also be called to battle if necisary, though Mizukara has vowed to kill Souku if any of her children are killed in one of his battles.
Fighting weakness:
Without Murasaki, while his technique could be preformed alone, it would hardly be as effective as if they were together. Thus, unintended seperation in battle could easily prove fatal to him. Along with that, many of his techniques use a good portion of his chakra and often times leave him wary from fatigue in the middle of a fight. Sure hes gotten better since first learning the techniques, but the problem excists none the less.
He lacks any taijutsu abilities and so, isn't to good with hand to hand combat. Rather, he prefers to strike fast and hard and fall back. A hit and run fighter. But once caught up close, hes as good as dead. Fourtunatly, Murasaki is usually there to back him up.
Team members:
By the official records, he is no longer considered to even be a resident of Konoha, thought to be dead. So he has lost his place on Team 24 since leaving.
Friends/family:
His Aunt and Uncle: (Niether of them have names given their unimportance, if they need names, Ill fix it)His only remaining family today. His Uncle is fairly neutral to his presence, niether accepting nor rejecting him into his life. His Aunt however, always tried to get him to stop being a ninji, lest he bring grief to his own life and loved ones like her brother did. Souku rarely interacts with them anymore, especielly now that he's left Konoha.
Yui Hiroshi: The current Leader of Team 24 and Soukus former teacher. Dispite her petiete form and amazing looks, she's a harsh teacher and has earned a nasty reputation amongst the Village for it. But her ways aren't bad, just extremly damanding from her students. She's quick minded, though stuck in the past when it comes to how children should be delt with. Closed minded and absolutly convinced her way is the only way, it took quite a while for the team to get used to the shift from Roys laid back nature to her sharp drill sargernt one. She's much more brash with Tao and Souku though, given that they're guys. Its not at all uncommon to see her barking out orders to them to help Suki with just about anything, be it opening a door, or acting as a dummy for a demonstration. Expectantly, she's considerably softer towards Suki "because men should always be kinder to ladies. Thats how a gentlemen ought to be." She says. And treats the team accordingly. Even so, she helped them to get much stronger than they were and her training techniques soon became something they were accostumed to. Even Souku swallowed his pride in order to learn from her. Unfortunetly, the two never really had a good "student master bond". Souku was to stubborn to let her beating him to a puple stop him from insulting her, and she was far to easily irritated with his arrogance and the fact that she just couldn't get him to budge and let her win.
