Animal Color:
Green with deep purple-red veins through the thick stems, and petals.
Animal Markings:
None
Animal abilities:
Highly poisonous liquid circulates through them, so when their vines, leaves, or ‘skin’ is in any way broken this vicious purple-red liquid oozes out. Whether imbibed or simply through means of another orifice this poison can cause extreme pain, and possibly even death.
Their heads, bulbous and vaguely ‘bud’ shaped are filled with rows of needle like teeth (they seem to be some sort of mutated Venus Fly trap hybrid) and inside is a sticky saliva with all the potency of acid. Some of the small ones can even spit this ooze.
These plants are rather intelligent, and seem to understand human language rather well, they can also feed off of chakra, when in contact with the person or the source of it. They feed much more easily from their ‘host’ Hiiro, than others, and can return chakra to him in a similar way.
They don’t have eyes, and instead sense movement through vibration as well as a sort of ‘heat’ vision through special minuscule sensors on their ‘heads’
The plants have a very Bee Hive like mentality: the group as a whole is referred to as The Colony, the main plant, is the Queen, and the smaller sub-plants are called the Drones. While each and every plant has its own 'mind' they are all, in the end, controlled directly by the Queen.
The drones never reach more than two foot in length, and the only way for them to grow larger is, in essence, to become a queen plant: This only happens when a Drone is away from the colony for a length of time (Several years) and the Drone will eventually 'take root' and create it's own colony.
Queen's have the ability to be very similar to a hydra, as they have a hidden 'core' deep among the vines and roots, this being the only sure fire way of destroying them. Cutting off a Queen plants vines, or head will cause the generation of more Queen heads, these excess heads can be reabsorbed into the vine system once the threat is terminated.
The Queen plant will regenerate/regrow unless the Plant Core is terminated, however, destruction of the Core will not kill the drones.
Animal Weaknesses:
Fire, definitely. They are plants after all…
Night is another one, they don’t like to be active after the sun goes down and tend to be sluggish and not particularly alert.
They are also easily destroyed with blades, and aren't extremely fast when 'chasing' though they strike quickly like a snake.

Other:
Hiiro sees these plants as his family, odd enough. The largest he calls Okaasan, or Mother, and the others are simply his ‘siblings.’ [/blockquote][/size]
